All-new rooms and a Netflix restaurant are coming to the MGM Grand Las Vegas

The new qualification year for Delta Air Lines SkyMiles elite status kicked off earlier this month, and the Atlanta-based carrier is offering up its latest way for Medallion members to show off their status.

Aviation may be one of the safest forms of transportation, but unexpected turbulence can be an uncomfortable or even dangerous experience for airline passengers. While most routes will experience some form of turbulence, a new report reveals that some routes may be more prone to it than others.  Within the United States, flights from Albuquerque, NM to Denver, CO reported the highest average turbulence rate. For international flights, travelers from Mendoza, Argentina to Santiago, Chile experienced it the worst. Travelers have new destination options for spring and summer vacations. Frontier Airlines recently announced new services that include Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, as well as Tampa and Las Vegas. The discount carrier is launching new flight routes ahead of the busy summer travel season. Best of all, the airline is celebrating the new routes with one-way introduction fares that start at just $29. The airline will launch new service four times a week to Tampa International Airport (TPA) from Charlotte, NC (CLT) starting on May 2, 2025.

We've officially entered February, which means romance is in the air. But if you haven't planned the perfect Valentine's Day adventure for you and your sweetheart, Vio, the travel deals website, has a few ideas. In January, the website revealed its list of the most romantic getaway destinations for couples. It came to its conclusion after surveying 1,007 Americans who identified as «in a relationship» about their past and future couple trips, along with their «disagreements, their budgets, destinations, and golden rules for traveling together.» After examining all the data, it named Yosemite the spot that helps couples «feel the most romantically connected.»

A February getaway just got cheaper.  Frontier Airlines recently announced a discount promotion with 100 percent off of the base fares for selected February flights. Travelers are just responsible for paying the taxes and fees, and can enter the promotion code SAVENOW to score the savings. Travel + Leisure spotted a variety of warm-weather destinations that the promotional code can be applied to including Dallas, Fort Myers, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Phoenix Travelers looking to utilize the sale must purchase tickets by 11:59 p.m.

Love a good scoop of ice cream? Then, it's time to book a flight to Las Vegas. On Tuesday, the Museum of Ice Cream announced it's adding to its collection of five pop-ups and five permanent locations with its largest flagship destination, set to open in Las Vegas in 2026. Specifically, it's opening as the new flagship family-friendly food and beverage destination at the AREA15 immersive entertainment district, and, according to the brand, it will also be its «most ambitious location» to date. 

Low-cost airline Norse Atlantic Airways will make it easier to fly to Greece from the West Coast thanks to a brand-new flight launching next summer.
