Atlas Ocean Voyages has a new specialty dining option for travelers exploring Antarctica and the Arctic.
Called The Explorer’s Table, the new Omakase-style dining experience features cuisine from Spain, Korea, France, Argentina and North America. It’s being offered in The Dome observation lounge on the line’s yachts, World Voyager, World Traveller and World Navigator.
The multi-course tasting menu experience will debut later this year for the 2024-25 Antarctica season, then continue next summer during the Arctic season. Up to 10 guests may enjoy The Explorer’s Table at a time, and reservations open 60 days before embarkation date.
Dishes will range from charcoal steamed Nishiki rice with Ossetra caviar to flamed spring chicken terrine with pickles. Each course will be paired with premium wines.
“Guests will enjoy a special evening with just a few other guests, providing the ultimate dining experience on board,” says James Rodriguez, president and chief executive of Atlas Ocean Voyages.
The line is running several promotions that end on September 30, including its “Second Guest Sails Free” offer and its “Explore & Save” offer, which includes up to $5,000 in additional bonus savings per stateroom. Guests who book by September 30 can also enjoy a free stateroom category upgrade on 2025-26 Antarctica and 2026 Arctic cruises.
