Visiting the island of Bermuda just got easier.
BermudAir, a regional airline providing direct service to Bermuda, is launching several new routes. The airline will provide new, year-round service from regional airports to the island, including Charleston, SC, Hartford, CT, and Raleigh-Durham, NC.
The added markets, which will begin service in April 2025, are currently on sale on the airline’s website, with introductory fares starting at $249.
“These new routes are a big win for the island, providing opportunities to experience new cultures, enjoy world-class amenities, and contribute to a thriving economy through both inbound and outbound travel,” BermudAir’s Founder and CEO Adam Scott shared in a statement to Travel + Leisure.
BermudAir currently offers service from Baltimore (BWI), Boston (BOS), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Halifax, Nova Scotia (YHZ), New York / Westchester (HPN), Orlando (MCO), and Toronto (YYZ). The airline maintains a fleet of Embraer 175 aircraft, and says it will add two additional aircraft in 2025 to support the expanding network and new routes.
The airline offers a variety of levels of service ranging from Economy Light to Business.
Economy Light only includes one personal item and is non-refundable, where Business includes carry-on and checked luggage, plus perks such as lounge access in Bermuda.
Passengers on BermudAir are provided complimentary beverages and snacks that are «sourced from carefully selected partners in Bermuda», according to the airline.
Tourism to Bermuda has been on the rise, as visitors seek to explore the resorts, hiking, and outdoor adventures. The airline recently announced that there was an 11.4 percent growth in air travelers for the first half of 2024, and that the country currently has its highest amount of direct flights.

In the 1980s, when I planned my first trip to Europe, I can’t remember which Frommer’s travel guidebook I brought along. It might have been “Europe on $25 a Day” or “Europe on $40 a Day.” Either way, I had Arthur Frommer by my side.

If you’ve experienced Utah's best skiing before and are in on the now not-so-secret handshake, you know that some of best skiing in the world is only 45 minutes away from Salt Lake City International Airport. (That means you can take a 7 a.m. flight from New York's JFK, land at 10:30-ish and be on the mountain by 1 p.m.) That and the state’s maxim—The Greatest Snow On Earth—broadcasted on every souvenir item possible isn’t overselling how preposterously light and fluffy the powder is here, or how much of it falls annually (up to 500 inches).
Frontier Airlines, a discount carrier based in Denver, recently announced 16 new routes spread across international and domestic destinations, including Antigua, Las Vegas, and Orlando. Best of all, the airline is celebrating the new routes by offering introductory fares as low as $19.
