Booking a business class ticket with miles just got a bit easier with a new flash sale from Delta Air Lines.
“Celebrate your loyalty and discover Delta One with Award deals to Europe, Asia, and beyond,” the airline shared about the promotion on its website. “Fares shown are roundtrip, and additional fees, restrictions, and baggage charges may apply.”
The sale, which must be booked by Thursday, Dec. 19, at 11:59 p.m. ET, is available for varying travel dates in the first half of 2025, Delta shared with Travel + Leisure. Many Delta One award tickets are available for as low as 99,000 SkyMiles, though government taxes and fees will vary based on the destination.
The complete list of sale fares can be found on Delta's website. Travel + Leisure found the top award deals, starting at just 100,000 miles for a one-way flight:
Delta Amex credit card holders can save an additional 15 percent on award flights, leading to even greater savings. For example, a roundtrip flight from New York (JFK) to Madrid (MAD) this winter was reduced from 196,000 SkyMiles to 166,000 SkyMiles, plus $50 in taxes and fees. (The cash fare for the same itinerary cost more than $3,500).
The value of a mile is key to determining if you’re getting a great deal, according to points experts interviewed by T+L, understanding. In this case, each Delta SkyMile is worth over 2 cents, which is exceptional compared to the typical redemption value of around 1.2 cents per mile.
All Delta One passengers have access to the airline’s newly opened business class-only lounges, currently available at select airports like Boston (BOS), New York (JFK), and Los Angeles (LAX), with plans for additional locations in the future. These Delta One lounges offer an elevated experience compared to the airline’s network of Delta Sky Clubs, featuring restaurant-style dining and wellness amenities.
