For a hero to actually become a hero, they often need a villain. You'll find plenty of both types of iconic Disney characters on Disney Destiny, poised to set sail in 2025.
The ship goes beyond fairy-tale princesses and Marvel superhero spaces with venues like the first-ever piano lounge dedicated to Cruella de Vil and a "Pirates of the Caribbean"-themed pub where perhaps the more villainous types might spend their time.
Before we dive into all the specifics of what you'll find aboard Disney Destiny, know that it's a 144,000-ton Wish Class ship. That means it is the same size and in the same class of ships as both Disney Wish, which first set sail in 2022, and Disney Treasure, which will do so in late 2024. The Disney Wish Class ships have 1,258 cabins that, when fully utilized with every pull-down bunk and pullout sofa filled, can hold about 4,000 passengers.

The ship's name, Disney Destiny, might give you a huge clue as to its theme. Expect to find many spaces devoted to both the heroes and the villains. After all, it's the intersection and duality of both that are needed to propel heroes forward ... to their ultimate destiny.
Of course, your family's voyage aboard Disney Destiny isn't just about the Disney characters' stories and journeys. It's also about finding your own destiny, and the themed spaces and characters set that stage.
For example, the illustration on the bow will depict Minnie Mouse "striking a valiant pose in a heroic ensemble, her cape waving majestically in the sea breeze as she boldly leads guests toward their vacation destinies," the line has said.
In the ship's Grand Hall, you'll find a very different look and feel than the Cinderella "enchantment" vibes on Disney Wish. Instead, Disney Destiny will feature a statue of T'Challa from the "Black Panther" and a color palette all around the massive atrium that's inspired by the fictional Kingdom of Wakanda.
Even the light fixture hanging above the Grand Hall will carry that theme. It is inspired by Vibranium, a powerful, rare metal found in Wakanda. (Don't be shocked to discover it might feature a few special effects.)
Of course, no Disney ship would be complete without a character adorning
