Hard Rock International's new loyalty program now has a cobranded credit card.
The Unity by Hard Rock Mastercard Credit Card, launched today, enables Unity by Hard Rock loyalty program members to earn Unity points through card spending. The new credit card has no annual fee, is available to U.S.-based Unity members and can be used internationally.
The information for the Hard Rock Master Credit Card has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.
"We're proud to introduce the Unity by Hard Rock Mastercard which is designed for our most loyal guests to earn even more points for doing what they love at Hard Rock," Penny Goodwin, senior vice president of loyalty and CRM for Seminole Hard Rock Support Services, said in a statement. "This innovative card empowers members to earn points with every purchase at Hard Rock properties and through their everyday spending, enabling them to reinvest those points into memorable travel, entertainment, gaming and culinary experiences."
Cardholders can earn more Unity points by using the card at Hard Rock-affiliated properties, like the Hard Rock Hotel Maldives pictured above, but there are also double points-earning offerings at restaurants and grocery stores. The earning structure breaks down as follows:
The Unity by Hard Rock loyalty program launched earlier this year, and members can earn and redeem Unity points toward free hotel nights, dining experiences, merchandise and more offerings in the Hard Rock network.
Unity by Hard Rock has four membership tiers: Star, Legend, Icon and the invite-only X status. Unity's Star tier is achieved by having anywhere from 0 to 3,999 Unity tier credits, while Legend is for those with 4,000 to 14,999 Unity tier credits. Icon is for those with 15,000 or more Unity tier credits.
Hotel benefits like early check-in, late checkout, welcome amenities and room upgrades are offered to those at Icon and X status. Interestingly, a nightly turndown service is offered as a membership benefit only to those with X status. A full list of tier benefits can be found here.
Unity points have a set value of $1, equal to 100 points. They can be redeemed like regular dollars for spending at participating Hard Rock restaurants, bars, hotels, lounges and stores.
Unity by Hard Rock has several benefits, including travel discounts and giveaways and reciprocal loyalty status with the casino loyalty clubs of Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises.
Hard Rock Hotels offers member-only rates to Unity members, and various booking pages, including one for the Hard Rock Hotel New York, indicate member rates are as much as 10% below the best available rates.
