President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Ibrahim Faisal as the Tourism Minister for the presidential administration.
The induction ceremony took place on 17th November 2023 at the President’s Office. Faisal’s educational background includes higher studies in business studies at Westminster International College, Malaysia.
His experience in public service began in the police force, followed by a tenure as deputy minister in the Ministry of Youth and Sports from 2013 to 2015. Subsequently, he served as additional secretary at the High Commission of Maldives in Malaysia from 2015 to 2018.
