A trip to Mexico's Riviera Maya just got more elevated thanks to a brand-new luxury all-inclusive resort boasting an extensive spa with a seawater hydrotherapy pool, oceanfront suites, a pool overlooking the pristine turquoise water and more.
An adults-only property, Paraiso de la Bonita, a Luxury Collection Resort, Riviera Maya, Adult All-Inclusive welcomes guests with 100 spacious oceanfront suites, each with its own private balcony and designed to evoke a sense of place with elegant textiles, natural wood and expansive views of the sea beyond, Marriott told The Points Guy. The resort, which is conveniently located just about 20 minutes from Cancun International Airport (CUN), is only the third all-inclusive resort to open as part of Marriott International's The Luxury Collection.

"This resort will continue to deliver on The Luxury Collection promise of providing access to the most fascinating and sought-after locations on earth while offering unparalleled amenities and service that discerning global explorers have come to expect from our brand," Brian King, the president of Marriott International for the Caribbean and Latin America, said in a statement shared with TPG. "We hope travelers around the globe join us in celebrating the grand opening of this extraordinary retreat and discover a world where elegance and exclusivity come together to create unforgettable memories."
Suites at the resort are spacious, starting at around 830 square feet and going all the way up to over 3,100 square feet, and feature large soaking tubs as well as separate living rooms. Accommodations can be arranged with a king bed or two double beds or as a two-bedroom suite. But to really pamper yourself, book one of the rooms with a private plunge pool.
The resort continues to pay homage to its surroundings with its buzzy restaurant scene, including the Kuhul Mexican restaurant, which opens early and surrounds guests with lush greenery, along with the Latin American Joya, which serves up lunch and dinner. These are just two of the four on-property restaurants and three bars, all of which use local ingredients to indulge guests. Craving something different? Explore Mediterranean fare at the Cote a Costa restaurant or enjoy "traditional Chinese techniques with modern innovation" at Qin Qin.
But the real indulgence comes at the 22,000-square-foot Thalasso Spa Center, complete with nine treatment rooms, a seawater hydrotherapy pool, a sauna and a steam room for the ultimate relaxation experience. For now, while the spa gets fully up to speed, the resort is offering personalized in-suite spa experiences, according to Marriott's website.
