The world’s largest independent hotel brand, Preferred Hotels & Resorts, will be expanding its portfolio with 10 new luxury hotels and resorts now through 2025 in destinations from London to the Caribbean and beyond.
“We are excited to unveil these highly anticipated new openings, including two standout properties joining our prestigious Legend Collection, which represents the pinnacle of ultra-luxury hospitality,” said Lindsey Ueberroth, CEO of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. “We can’t wait to invite travelers to explore new corners of the world and discover unique experiences through our newest properties.”
All properties will be part of Preferred’s I Prefer Hotel Rewards loyalty program when they open or shortly thereafter.
Re-opening December 2024 following a complete rebuild, Peter Island Resort in the British Virgin Islands is a Legend Collection property that offers five beaches and a selection of 52 rooms, suites and villas. It features a 10,000-square-foot spa, two restaurants, a full-service marina and much more.
The Royal Hideaway Corales Villas will open in March 2025 in Tenerife, Spain as a member of Preferred’s L.V.X. and Residence Collections. It’s designed by Tenerife-born architect Leonardo Omar, offering a luxurious stay along the island’s Costa Adeje. There are 139 rooms and suites, a wellness area, two restaurants and more.
The next property will open in Crete this May as part of the L.V.X. Collection. ÓROS offers gorgeous views of the sea from its location on the White Mountains, offering a selection of rooms, suites and villas, including those with their own pools. Features include four restaurants, three bars, an adults-only pool, a spa and wellness center, family pool, kids’ club and more.
Opening in London next summer as part of the Legend Collection is The Newman, located in the Fitzrovia neighborhood. The design-forward hotel will offer 81 rooms and suites, including a rooftop signature suite featuring a private terrace and wellness area. The hotel includes a brasserie, cocktail bar, wellness floor and more.
Luxury travelers will love experiencing the best of Valletta, Malta with a stay at the Romègas Hotel when it opens in June. The hotel is located within a 500-year-old palazzo originally built for the Knight of Malta, Mathurin Romègas. With attention to restoration, the incredible hotel offers 23 rooms and suites with traditional Maltese balconies, a rooftop pool, restaurant and bar.
