Riviera River Cruises is now Riviera Travel.
The company is kicking off 2025 with a major rebrand and a new brand identity as it continues to expand its presence in the U.S. market.
“For the past 40 years, Riviera Travel has been synonymous with ultra-premium tours and travel experiences, so it’s only natural to bring Riviera River Cruises under the same trusted name,” says Marilyn Conroy, the company’s executive vice president of marketing and sales. “Rebranding from Riviera River Cruises to Riviera Travel better reflects the diverse, luxurious experiences we now offer to even the most discerning American travelers seeking unforgettable European vacations.”
The company is also launching new bundled travel packages for air, transfers, river cruises and pre- and post-cruise stays. Travel advisors can now effortlessly book their clients’ journeys from start to finish, thanks to a new streamlined booking process. The bundled packages are fully commissionable for travel advisors.
Moving forward, travel advisors will also receive their commission two weeks before their clients’ scheduled departure dates. This means advisors will get compensated earlier, underscoring the company’s commitment to its trade partners.
Riviera Travel is also offering new travel advisor incentives in 2025, including a $50 voucher for bookings of seven nights and a $100 voucher for bookings of 10 nights or more.
The company is also unveiling new amenities and itineraries for 2025, including combination cruises that allow guests to sail for up to 29 consecutive days. Guests can also enjoy a selection of themed cruises, such as “Gastronomy of the Douro” or “Art and History on the Danube.”
New onboard amenities and programming will be coming this year, including a new superior drinks package and special touches inspired by local destinations.
“The travel advisor community is essential to the growth and success of Riviera Travel as we expand our offerings and enhance the services we provide, and we continue to evolve our offerings in an effort to help our partners stay ahead of the game,” says Conroy. “With our rebrand, we are thrilled to reaffirm our commitment to travel advisors, recognizing their needs, the needs of their clients, and the absolutely vital role they play in our success. This is going to be a monumental year for Riviera Travel and those who partner with us.”
