Spirit Airlines’ Black Friday Sale Has Flights to Fort Lauderdale, Myrtle Beach, and More Starting at Just $25

Spirit Airlines is dialing up some cheap Black Friday fares with one-way flights starting as low as $25.
The airline’s “Black & Yellow” sale is available to book through 11:59 p.m. ET on Dec. 1 and valid for travel from Jan. 6, 2025, through Feb. 28, 2025, Spirit shared with Travel + Leisure. The sale is not available on Fridays or Sundays.
“There’s no better time than the holidays to offer our Guests great value so they can connect with the people and places that matter most,” Rana Ghosh, the senior vice president and chief transformation officer at Spirit Airlines, said in a statement shared with T+L. “Spirit’s Black & Yellow Friday helps travelers lock in the major savings they’re looking for and start the new year with fun travel plans.”
Fly from Charlotte to Orlando, from Newark to Myrtle Beach, from Boston to Fort Lauderdale, from San Diego to Las Vegas, and more starting at just $25, or escape on a cross-country vacation with flights from Los Angeles to Philadelphia starting at just $44 and flights from Newark to Las Vegas starting at just $58.
In addition to the inexpensive fares, Spirit is also making it easier to score Free Spirit Status by offering 2X Free Spirit Status Qualifying Points (SQPs) when travelers book by Dec. 1. Loyalty members get access to perks like free Wi-Fi, free bags, and priority boarding, depending on their status level.
The Black Friday sale comes just days after Spirit filed for bankruptcy, kicking off a plan that will require the airline to restructure. During that time, however, Spirit will continue to fly and has said tickets, credits, and loyalty points will be unaffected.
Earlier this year, Spirit introduced new fare classes, offering everything from economical “Go” fares (most similar to the carrier’s previous bare-bones tickets) to “Go Big” fares, which include the airline’s Big Front seat, free snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and more.
The airline has also done away with most change and cancellation fees, including for its lower-priced “Go” fares.
