Are you looking for an out-of-the-ordinary cruise adventure across the globe? Holland America Line has just announced some epic new itineraries you need to book.
Holland America has released details of four new Legendary Voyages, which will take passengers to Asia and the Australia and New Zealand region on sailings ranging from 28 to 35 nights. The line will also offer combined "Collectors' Voyages" that will allow guests to experience the best of the two regions on sailings of up to 68 nights.
Two ships — Noordam and Westerdam — will offer travelers a chance to sail to more than 50 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Australia's Great Barrier Reef, New Zealand's Fiordland National Park and the Krakatoa volcano, found between the islands of Java and Sumatra in Indonesia.
Voyages will also feature several overnights and late-night departures in cities like Shanghai, China; Osaka and Hiroshima, Japan; Laem Chabang (the port for Bangkok), Thailand; Bali, Indonesia; Fremantle (the port for Perth), Adelaide, Hobart and Melbourne, Australia; Tahiti in French Polynesia; and Honolulu, Hawaii.
Note: Prices were accurate at the time of publication but are subject to change. They are based on double occupancy.
On Oct. 11, 2026, the first of two Legendary South Pacific Crossing voyages will set sail on board Holland America's Noordam. The 33-night cruise will travel from Seattle to Sydney, Australia, potentially eliminating the need for a precruise flight if you live on the U.S. West Coast. Passengers can expect to visit the Hawaiian Islands, French Polynesia (including an overnight stay in Tahiti), New Zealand and more. Prices for this voyage start from $4,354 per person for an inside cabin.
On March 25, 2027, at the end of the season, cruisers can embark on a second Legendary South Pacific Crossing voyage, a 28-night trip from Sydney to Seattle. Like the first crossing, it could eliminate the need for a return flight if you live near Seattle. Highlights include visits to three ports in Fiji, as well as an overnight stay in Honolulu. Fares start from $5,584 per person for an inside cabin.
Sandwiched in between is HAL's 35-night Legendary Australia Circumnavigation, departing Nov. 15, 2026. This voyage offers visits all around the country, including the hard-to-reach West Coast, as well as overnights in Hobart and Fremantle (the port for Perth). It also features calls on four ports in Papua New Guinea. Cruisers can snag an inside cabin from $7,749 per person.
"The 35-Day Legendary Australia Circumnavigation is one of our deepest explorations of Australia," said Paul Grigsby, Holland America's vice president of revenue planning and analytics, in a statement, citing opportunities for guests to see kangaroos,

Just before Christmas, I was about halfway through my SAS EuroBonus million-mile challenge that had me traveling for 25 days on 20 flights with 15 different SkyTeam airlines. Along the way, I visited 16 countries in order to earn the ultimate prize: 1 million SAS EuroBonus miles.
Last year, open water swimmer Amy Appelhans Gubser became the first person to swim from San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge to the Farallon Islands, a craggy, mostly uninhabited archipelago off the Pacific coast that is known for its frigid, shark-infested waters. The 55-year-old fetal cardiology nurse coordinator from Pacifica, California, completed the 29.6-mile distance in 17 hours, three minutes. “It was so foggy that I only knew when it was daylight because the sky was a lighter gray,” she says.
When I traveled around Europe, visiting places like France, Great Britain, and the Czech Republic, several things instantly stood out about how different living in Europe was from living in the US.
Iconic snowboarder Shaun White retired from professional competition following the 2022 Beijing Olympics, with 3 Olympic Gold medals, 15 X Games Gold medals in snowboarding along with another five medals in skateboarding, and a slew of other accomplishments. White is without a doubt the most decorated athlete in the sport’s history. Although he’s done competing, White is far from removing himself from the snowboard world altogether. Quite the opposite, in fact – he recently launched WHITESPACE, a fashion-forward, high-end snowboard brand crafting boards, gear, and streetclothes for snowboarders across age groups.
