All-business class airline La Compagnie is helping travelers get to Europe in comfort for less with its annual “Blue Friday” sale that has roundtrip flights for just $2,200.
The sale, which is a nod to the carrier’s blue-hued fleet, is available to book by Nov. 25 for travel through April 30, 2025, the airline shared with Travel + Leisure. The promotion is valid on flights from the New York area to all three of the European cities La Compagnie flies to: Paris, Milan, and Nice.
The sale is limited to 3,000 seats available for purchase and comes as La Compagnie celebrates its 10th anniversary. Tickets purchased during the sale are nonrefundable.
«Celebrating a decade of redefining transatlantic travel, we are delighted to continue our 10th anniversary festivities with this year’s ‘Blue Friday’ promotion,” Christian Vernet, the CEO of La Compagnie, told T+L. “This special offer is our way of thanking our loyal passengers and inviting new travelers to discover New York, Paris, Milan and Nice with the exceptional comfort and style that set us apart in the industry.»
La Compagnie operates a fleet of Airbus A321neo aircraft complete with 76 lie-flat seats in a 2-2 configuration. Each seat comes complete with a 15.6-inch seat-mounted entertainment screen and free high-speed Wi-Fi. The airline was named one of the best international airlines by T+L readers, and operates flights between Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and both Paris Orly Airport (ORY) and Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), along with seasonal service to Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE).
On board, travelers are welcomed with an amenity kit featuring Caudalie skincare products and treated to multi-course meals and organic wines (think: scallops with chestnuts and honeyed butternut squash). Up in the air, passengers can relax with the airline’s meditation channel.
Earlier this year, La Compagnie was added to the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) TSA PreCheck program, making airport security a quicker and smoother experience for enrolled passengers.

“You did your alchemy here on this site to turn charred coals into art,” said France’s President Emmanuel Macron after he toured the newly restored Notre Dame. Five years since the cathedral caught fire, the iconic Parisian landmark is finally reopening to the public.

In the new Hulu show Interior Chinatown, a background actor trapped playing different cliched Asian characters on a police procedural gets involved in Chinatown’s crime scene. Comedian Ronny Chieng, who co-stars on the show, based on the much-lauded book of the same name, is a bit of a connoisseur of Chinatown neighborhoods around the world, having lived in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and now the United States. “It’s pretty funny, because the idea of Chinatown is basically in a non-Asian country, right? But the best Chinatowns are probably in Malaysia or Singapore,” says Chieng, who remains a senior correspondent on The Daily Show. “But damn, I’m biased. I have to go with New York City. It's my Chinatown and I think it's the best Chinatown. It's got food, tailors, massage places, coffee. New York City’s Chinatown is where it's at.”
