This Historic Pennsylvania Train Ride Showcases the 'Holy Grail of Fall Foliage'

When I picture a road trip, I see images of two carefree people in a convertible traversing Route 66. There are no kids in the picture, and I'm not even sure there is luggage. It feels so easy and inexpensive. A road trip with kids, however, is a different experience, especially when those kids are teenagers.

Breeze Airways is bolstering its service in Florida this winter. The Utah-based low-cost carrier, which commenced service in 2021, unveiled its latest expansion Tuesday, with four new routes to the Sunshine State.

Amtrak is launching a new route between Chicago and Miami this fall that will whisk passengers from the Midwest to the Sunshine State in 47 hours.

As a beer aficionado, I've been to my fair share of brew festivals throughout the US, several of which were "Oktoberfest" themed.

In the second, there are trips from London to Brussels in just two hours, from Rome to Venice in four hours, and from Miami to Orlando in three hours. And if you’re a train traveler who belongs to the second category and likes getting places fast without flying, there are plenty of trains in this world that do just that at speeds previously unimaginable on land, including the fastest train in the world and its closest competitors.

The best thing about August isn’t the searing heat – it’s the fact that summer has matured and there’s been (hopefully) plenty of time to get out and test new gear.
