2025 is poised to be another colossal year for travel and tourism and many of those trips will include travel professionals such as advisors and suppliers and traversing the globe to meet and share ideas and insights.
The 12-month calendar is loaded with important conferences, conventions, events and gatherings offering unique opportunities for education, networking, certification and celebration.
Here are the top travel industry events that travel professionals won't want to miss in 2025.
The renowned International Tourism Fair Fitur returns to Madrid, Spain from January 22-26 this year. That same weekend (January 25-26) will see the New York Travel & Adventure Show return to the Big Apple. The Travel & Adventure show will make its 2025 debut in Atlanta, Georgia from January 11-12. Meanwhile, Virtuoso Forum US will wrap up the month in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from January 28-31.
The International Inbound Travel Association (IITA) will host its 2025 Summit in Salt Lake City, Utah from February 9-12. February will also be a busy month for the Travel & Adventure Show, which will make stops in Chicago (February 1-2), Phoenix (February 15-16) and Los Angeles (February 22-23).
Finally, the ANATO 2025 Tourist Showcase will be held in Bogota, Colombia to close out the month from February 26-28.

March will begin with the popular ITB Berlin convention in the German capital from March 4-6. Last year's event drew some 24,000 visitors. In 2025, the motto will be "The Power of Transition lives here." ASTA River Cruise Expo 2025 will start a week later in Vienna, Austria, taking place March 12-16.
The Travel & Adventure Show will wrap up for the year in March with stops in Denver (March 8-9), the San Francisco Bay Area (March 15-16), Dallas (March 22-23) and Washington, DC (March 29-30).
April will be one of the busiest months for marquee travel events in 2025. Major events include the 40th anniversary of Seatrade Cruise Global in Miami from April 7-10, the Travel Weekly Hawaii Leadership Forum at the Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort on April 15 and CLIA Cruise360 in Fort Lauderdale from April 22-27.
Other notable events include the Mountain Travel Symposium in Snowmass Village, Colorado from April 7-12 and Tianguis Turistico Mexico, which will start in Baja California on April 28 and run through May 1.
Virtuoso Symposium will take place aboard the Crystal Serenity as it sails from Barcelona to Marseille on May 13-17. Just days later, the highly anticipated ASTA Travel Advisor Conference comes to the Hyatt Regency in Salt Lake City, Utah from May 20-22.
