Virgin Atlantic will open a clubhouse lounge in Los Angeles’ international terminal in 2025, making flights to London from the West Coast even more luxurious.
The airline plans to open its Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse in the Tom Bradley International Terminal of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) early next year, according to Virgin. The lounge will be located near the carrier’s gates for easy access.
«We're thrilled to bring our award-winning Clubhouse to the vibrant, entertainment capital of Los Angeles, where we know business and leisure travelers alike will enjoy our experience before their flight across the pond,” Corneel Koster, the chief customer and operating officer at Virgin Atlantic, said in a statement. „Our latest Clubhouse will have something special for every customer, from signature dishes to British designer finishes, plus some fun surprises you'd only expect from Virgin Atlantic.”
Featuring Virgin’s signature moody deep red-toned design, the clubhouse will include a bar and social area along with table service for dining, a VIP booth called “The Royal Box,” wireless charging options, Bluetooth connectivity, and power outlets throughout the space. Lighting will be inspired by the California sunset and the design will aim to “optimize customers' circadian rhythm and encourage mindfulness and relaxation, setting them up for a restful flight.”
Travelers can access the lounge several ways, including with an Upper Class Virgin Atlantic ticket, with a Delta One ticket on an international Delta Air Lines flight, with a SkyTeam Elite Plus membership when traveling with Virgin or Delta, or with a Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Gold Card membership.
In addition to this lounge, LAX’s international terminal boasts several other lounges, including an American Express Centurion Lounge, an Air France lounge, a Qantas First Lounge, and more.
The airport’s abundance of lounges open day and night also makes LAX the most sleep-friendly airport in the United States.
