Here are a few of our favorites.
Graduate by Hilton knows a thing or two about school spirit. With locations conveniently near college campuses, Graduate by Hilton infuses each property with playful, inviting spaces for friends, family and fans to gather and decor that pays homage to the town's history and collegiate culture.
Take Graduate by Hilton Cincinnati, for example. Located on the University of Cincinnati campus, the hotel incorporates the Bearcats' colors into much of its decor, but the tribute doesn't stop there. You'll also find nods to the things that Cincinnati is most well known for, like the city's unique take on chili and its legacy as the former headquarters of the Kenner toy company.
Rooms at Graduate by Hilton Cincinnati start at $140 or 43,000 Hilton Honors points per night.
According to Hilton's 2025 Trends Report, 20% of travelers will aim for outdoor adventures in the new year. Thanks to an exclusive partnership between Hilton and premier outdoor hospitality brand AutoCamp, travelers can now enjoy the country's natural splendor without sacrificing quality or comfortable accommodations (not to mention a hot shower).
AutoCamp locations offer a variety of accommodation options; The Clubhouse, a social hub for games, activities and refreshments; and The Kitchen, a dining outlet with fresh and prepared options so you can commune with one another and the great outdoors.
AutoCamp Yosemite is located in Midpines, California, about a 35-minute drive from Yosemite's Arch Rock Entrance, though the vistas are just as scenic from the property as they are inside the national park's boundaries. “When I was 14, my parents let me take the train to the city by myself for modeling jobs. By contrast, I get anxiety when I send my daughter alone to Starbucks, so I’m constantly amazed at the liberties I enjoyed at her age. I grew up in Connecticut, outside the city, so there were the obligatory trips to see Broadway shows, and always The Nutcracker during the holidays—they were practically state visits. By the time I moved here at 21, I was more familiar with the city than some of my new friends who had grown up on the Upper East Side.”
Alaska Airlines’ footprint is growing both domestically and internationally.
Korean Air is among the last airlines still flying the iconic Boeing 747, but it's scheduled to pull the jet from a particularly long US route in 2025.
Ski season in the western United States and Canada doesn't look like it did a decade ago. Despite the fact that climate change has made snowfall far less predictable, resorts have never been more crowded. This is partly because so many of the region's best mountains now accept the multi-resort Epic and Ikon passes, making it cost-effective to spend more days at more destinations, and also because the COVID-era uptick in the sport has endured. Long lift lines and packed runs, as well as sold-out slope-adjacent hotels, are now the norm.
American Airlines will use a special rule exception to fly longer-than-normal routes out of New York's LaGuardia Airport next year.
American Airlines has just announced a notable expansion to Canada and the Rockies next year.

It's easy to get swept up in the magic — and madness — of the holiday season. Between decorating, gathering gifts and prepping for the new year, there's so much to plan and keep track of at the end of December. And that's just those of us who don't travel for the holidays and have to contend with things like crowded airports and long security lines.
This winter, if the bookings at Ski.com, North America’s largest ski-focused travel agency, are any indication, one of skiing’s biggest secrets is out: It can be cheaper to ski in Europe than at a U.S. mountain resort.
It just got easier to fly as a VIP out west.JSX, a semi-private jet company based in Dallas, which has gained popularity for offering a luxury travel experience at more affordable prices than a private jet, recently announced new routes connecting Oakland, CA and destinations in the West. Starting on January 9, JSX will begin service between Oakland and Scottsdale, AZ. Located just twelve miles east of Phoenix, Scottsdale has become popular for hiking and outdoor activities, as well as shopping in the Old Town Scottsdale. On March 2, JSX will begin new service connecting Oakland, CA and Carlsbad, CA. Known for its beautiful beaches, golf courses, and other outdoor activities, Carlsbad has been growing in popularity among outdoor enthusiasts as well. Best of all, Carlsbad is home to a LEGOLAND California Resort, which makes it a family-friendly destination as well. Both of the new routes are currently on sale on JSX’s website, with tickets as low as $259 one-way. JSX operates a fleet of Embraer 145 and 135 jets. Each aircraft has a standard maximum capacity of 50 passengers, however JSX reconfigured the plane, and removed 20 seats, therefore each plane accommodates 30 passengers, providing a more spacious, luxurious experience. JSX also offers free checked bags, free drinks, and snacks. The airline also offers «hangar-to-hangar» complimentary Wi-Fi, that is high-speed and powered by Starlink. The JSX route map spans from New York to California, though most routes are on the West Coast. Major hubs include Burbank (BUR), Dallas (DAL), Las Vegas (LAS), and Westchester County, NY (HPN).
