Getting to Europe just got easier with a new promotion from Flying Blue, the joint frequent flier program of Air France and KLM.
Every month, these airlines offer 25 percent discounts on mileage redemptions on select routes. This month’s promotion, which is valid for bookings made by Friday, Jan. 31, applies to travel from now until June 30, 2025.
These deals are available for economy or premium economy, depending on the flight chosen — here’s the complete list of available offers:
Air France operates its main hub in Paris (CDG), while KLM is based primarily in Amsterdam (AMS). From these two major European airports, travelers can easily connect to numerous European cities.
For example, it’s possible to book a one-way flight from Phoenix (PHX) to Rome (FCO) via Paris (CDG) for that 15,000-mileage rate, a ticket that might otherwise cost over $700. However, taxes and fees, which vary by route and fare class, will cost about $200 at checkout.
Even if you've never flown with Air France or KLM, earning Flying Blue miles is still within reach. Signing up for their loyalty program is completely free and only takes a few minutes.
Flying Blue partners 1:1 with popular credit card rewards programs, including Amex Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards, Capital One Miles, Chase Ultimate Rewards, Citi ThankYou Rewards, and Wells Fargo Rewards. Travelers can easily transfer points from these programs to Flying Blue and book deals directly on the Air France or KLM websites.
Some months, Flying Blue will even offer discounts on business class redemptions, providing one of the most affordable ways to fly to Europe in the comfort of a lie-flat bed.

Vintage luxury is making a comeback. Not just with clothes, but with a particularly beloved mode of transit — trains.
As of Dec. 16, 2024, Paris and Berlin are linked by a direct high-speed train for the first time. Though the new eight-hour rail service isn't exactly speedy, the launch is part of a push within Europe to reduce short-haul flights in favor of more eco-friendly train options.
