Marriott Bonvoy loyalists now have a new place to book near Canyonlands and Arches national parks: Red Cliffs Lodge Moab, a retreat in southeast Utah.
Found on the banks of the Colorado River, Red Cliffs isn't a new resort, but it is new to the Marriott Bonvoy ecosystem. At the lodge, guests will find rustic rooms with plenty of space to spread out, knotty pine furniture, Mexican saltillo tile, kitchenettes and an overall homey atmosphere perfect to retreat to after a long day of exploring the nearby national parks.
The starter rooms — Creekside Queen Suites — can accommodate up to six people, and there are even two-bedroom suites with two queen beds.

And while the national and state parks scattered throughout Moab offer plenty to do, the resort itself is also a hub of activities you can book (for a fee). In the morning, start the day with sunrise yoga and meditation, hop on a horse and head out on a trail ride, or just post up at the resort and have a massage therapist work out some of the knots in your back. Other activities that can be arranged include whitewater rafting, rock climbing and even skydiving.
Breakfast and dinner are served at The Cowboy Grill, where huge windows showcase the stunning landscapes. Or, if you and the crew are headed out for a day of adventure, the restaurant can organize boxed lunches you can take along. To cap off a big day traversing the beauty of Moab, The Cowboy Grill Bar will be waiting with a cold one.
It's a great time for Red Cliffs Lodge Moab to join Marriott Bonvoy because the hotel will be undergoing some slight changes over the winter months, including face-lifts for Creekside and Riverfront rooms and suites and an all-new dining experience.
Right now, cash rates at Red Cliffs Lodge Moab start around $119 per night in the winter and fluctuate wildly throughout the year (expect to spend more than $600 per night during the busy summer season). Marriott Bonvoy members can book starting from 60,000 points per night.
But Moab isn't the only place that Red Cliffs Lodge is letting people use Marriott Bonvoy points. The team also just opened Red Cliffs Lodge Zion, part of Marriott's Tribute Portfolio, right near Zion National Park. The 132-room hotel underwent a total makeover on the way to joining Marriott and can be booked from 70,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night.
