Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelenskyy visited a special forces base in the Kharkiv region also on Monday.
Zelenskyy met with the forward command post of the Special Operations Forces and handed out state awards.
"I want to thank you for your heroic operations both behind enemy lines and during the defence and de-occupation of our territories, cities and villages, starting with the defence of DAP (Donetsk Airport) in 2014, then Gostomel, Kherson Region and the operation in Kharkiv Region," Zelenskyy told soldiers at the base.
