Hilton Honors and American Express offer some of the best credit cards for every type of traveler. These cards offer a suite of benefits, but perhaps the best perk is the ability to acquire a free reward night certificate each year with certain cards. Three of Hilton's credit cards — the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card and Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card— can get you these Hilton free night certificates either on your card anniversary, or by meeting a spending threshold each calendar year.
The certificates are the same in all cases, valid at nearly every Hilton property (with a handful of exclusions). If there's a standard room available, you can book it with a Hilton free night certificate.
Earn 14X points for eligible purchases at hotels and resorts in the Hilton portfolio. Many of the best credit cards come with high annual fees that certainly aren't for everyone, and that's definitely the case with the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card . This is Hilton's most expensive (and rewarding) card, and it's geared toward loyal Hilton travelers who can make the most of its many generous benefits.
The easiest way to earn a Hilton free night certificate is with the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire. It currently offers a bonus of 175,000 Hilton Honors bonus points after you spend $6,000 in purchases on the card within your first six months of card membership (offer ends 7/31/2024), and has a $550 annual fee.
You'll receive a free reward night after you open the card, and another each year on your card anniversary. The certificate is deposited automatically into your Hilton Honors account, and you can also earn a second certificate after spending $60,000 in a calendar year.
Earn 12X points for each dollar of eligible purchases charged on your card directly with a hotel or resort

When travelers think of contentious issues on planes, jockeying for overhead bin space or debating whether to recline a seat likely come to mind. But breastfeeding on a plane can be one of the most fraught dilemmas in the sky for new parents. Among a patchwork of airline policies, federal regulations, and obnoxious passengers, many are left wondering if they're allowed to breastfeed on a plane, and if so, what guidelines are in place?
July was a whirlwind — and, well, the news was nonstop. Between politics, that wild global computer fiasco (you know, the one that hit airlines hard) and the Olympics starting, you might have missed some big news on the hotel front.
Right now, domestic airlines treat traveling families differently. A handful, such as JetBlue Airways, American Airlines and Alaska Airlines, guarantee that parents can sit next to their children. But on the others, parents are left to pay for more expensive assigned seats or to bank on the good will of strangers.

There are few things better in life than a summer vacation and enjoying the sunshine, school breaks and generally slower pace of the season. However, the reality right now is that things can be expensive, and some travelers are tightening their belts and keeping a closer eye on budgets this summer.
