Margaritaville at Sea is making it easier to explore Nassau with a new pass offering access to their on-land resort when the company launches cruises to the island next year.
Guests on cruises to Nassau will be able to add a “Sail and Splash: Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau experience” pass to their cruise, which will give them priority access to the Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau, the cruise line shared with Travel + Leisure. The pass will cost $99 per person when travelers add it to their cruise during booking.
“As we sail into 2025, we’re excited to add the vibrant city of Nassau to our growing list of island destinations,” Christopher Ivy, the CEO of Margaritaville at Sea, said in a statement shared with T+L. “In addition to this great new port of call, we’re offering guests a unique ship-to-resort experience, making it the ultimate quick getaway to paradise… We are excited to expand our offerings and provide new and loyal guests a reason to return to Paradise.”
The Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau, which sits just a few minutes walk from the port, features beach access, a water park complete with water slides and a lazy river, several restaurants, a spa to relax at, and more.
The cruise line will launch sailings to Nassau in January 2025 on the company’s first ship, the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise. The two-, three-, and four-night trips will sail from Palm Beach.
In addition to the new Nassau offering, Margaritaville at Sea is discounting cruises as part of its Black Friday Early Access sale. Book a cruise to Nassau starting at just $99 for two or save up to 60 percent off trips with either of the company’s ships. Travelers who book the sale can also receive up to $300 in onboard credit and bring guests since the 3rd and 4th guests sail for free.
To take advantage of the sale, travelers must book by Oct. 29 and sail with the Margaritaville at Sea Islander by April 30, 2026, or sail with the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise by December 31, 2025.
Margaritaville at Sea first launched as a cruise line in 2022. The company offers free cruises for U.S. military service members (both active duty and veterans), police, firefighters, EMS personnel, nurses, and educators as part of its Heroes Sail Free program.

In 2022, I took two of the longest flights of my life, traveling between Auckland, New Zealand, and Los Angeles.
The holiday season is nearly upon us, which means it's time to book those flights to see your parents, in-laws, siblings, family, friends, or even that solo getaway you so desperately need at the end of the year. But before you do, make sure to consider all your flight options because some airports are simply better than others for holiday travelers. To help you find the right ones, MarketWatch conducted a survey of 3,000 Americans to learn more about their holiday travel habits. The team found that 61 percent of respondents plan to travel this holiday season, 36 percent intend to fly for the holidays, and they expect to pay an average of $1,869 on holiday air travel.

A great golf course is like a classic work of statuary — except that the medium is the earth itself, not just a hunk of marble or wet clay.

I started traveling solo nearly a decade ago when I turned 30. In the beginning, I didn't have any grand plans to visit all 50 states or every national park — I just knew I wanted to experience new places.
