Southwest’s Week Of Wow Offers Travel Sales Including 40% Off Fares

If travel is a top goal in 2024, Southwest Airlines is bringing a week of travel deals that could help you save money on your next adventure. Flights aren’t the only sales either. Vacation packages, car rentals, and even hotels are featured in the offers.

Southwest had its annual ‘Week of Wow’ sale last September 2023. Fortunately, Southwest has kicked off another bunch of deals that began on January 08, 2024. Even better, some of the deals are being offered for a few weeks.

Travelers can get up to 40% off base fares on flights taken between January 30, 2024-May 22, 2024. Travelers must use the promo code ‘WOW’ when booking travel dates. Additionally, travel must be booked by January 11, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PST.

After entering the code ‘WOW’ in the promo code box when booking, you should see the savings in the base fare visible as a strike-through of the regular fare. Note that there are restrictions, exclusions, and a few blackout dates. The discount is also only applicable to base fares and not government taxes and fees, which start at $5.60 per one-way trip.

Travelers who want to take advantage and book a flight now but maybe need to pay later can do so with $0 down. Book a Wanna Get Away Plus® ticket using Uplift for the $0 down offer through January 14, 2024. However, this offer is subject to approval based on the traveler’s credit score and other factors. A minimum purchase of $49 is required for this offer.

Another deal ending soon is the ability to save up to 30% off on Budget rental car base rates. Additionally, travelers can earn up to 4x points on bookings completed by May 15, 2024. To take advantage of this deal, an advance reservation is required and must be placed through January 15, 2024.

Travelers who buy a minimum of 2,000 Rapid Rewards points can get a mystery discount and save either 40%, 45%, or 50%. This offer is available through February 23, 2024, by 11:59 p.m. CST. Note that purchased points don’t count towards the Southwest Companion Pass, A-List, or A-List Preferred qualification.

Through February 23, 2024, travelers can earn 4x points on their hotel stays. To earn the points, book your hotel reservation at www.southwesthotels.com by 11:59 p.m. CST on January 14, 2024, and enter your Rapid Rewards number. This promotion is good for stays between January 8, 2024-May 31, 2024.

Travelers looking to save on vacation packages can get $100 off flight and hotel domestic vacation packages of $500 or more by using code ‘USVACATION100’ when booking. International and Hawaii travel also comes with savings of $200 off international and Hawaii packages when using the code ‘INTVACATION200’ when booking.
