It's no secret in the points and miles world that the World of Hyatt program is one of the best in the industry. With top-notch elite benefits and strong rewards, World of Hyatt is the go-to program for many. Plus, with the availability of both a consumer credit card and a business credit card, earning World of Hyatt points is easy.
Now is a good time to add one of these cards to your wallet, as the sign-up offers on both Hyatt cards are higher than usual. Currently, the World of Hyatt Credit Card is offering a sign-up bonus of up to 65,000 bonus points. You can earn 35,000 bonus points after you spend $3,000 on purchases in your first three months from account opening. Additionally, you can earn up to 30,000 more bonus points by earning 2 bonus points total per dollar spent in the first six months from account opening on purchases that normally earn 1 bonus point (on up to $15,000 spent).
If you're eligible for a business credit card, you can earn a sign-up bonus of up to 75,000 bonus points with the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card. Specifically, you can earn 60,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases within the first three months of account opening. Plus, you can earn an additional 15,000 bonus points after you spend $12,000 within the first six months of account opening. While this might sound like a lot of spending on paper, earning the full bonus should be easily obtainable if your business generally spends at least $2,000 a month on credit cards.

But once you earn the points, how should you spend them? Fortunately, the World of Hyatt award chart is favorable, and your points can take you pretty far. Based on TPG's valuations, World of Hyatt points are worth 1.7 cents each. So, 75,000 bonus points are worth around $1,275.
However, there is one caveat to understand about the World of Hyatt award chart: It uses peak, standard and off-peak pricing. This means during peak periods at a certain property, you'll spend slightly more points per night. However, if you can travel during off-peak dates, your points will go further, as the number of points required per night will be less. If you have flexibility, you can view the Hyatt Points Calendar via a desktop browser (it won't work in the Hyatt app) to see the per-night points rate at each property.
Now, let's look at how you could redeem 75,000 World of Hyatt points on stays.
For 75,000 points, you might be able to stay for a full five nights in the heart of Washington, D.C., at the Grand Hyatt. This hotel is a Category 4 hotel, so award nights cost 15,000 points on dates with standard pricing.
