CHICAGO, IL – Cloud5 Communications, leading provider of IT and communications solutions and services for more than 5,000 hotels across the Americas, has announced the appointment of hospitality technology veteran, Fred Reeder, as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development.
Reeder has decades of experience aligning technology and services with the latest hospitality business needs – and building robust, effective sales teams to serve those needs. Most recently, he served as the principal and head of HBR Global, a management consulting firm focused on sales optimization; global sales and channel management; corporate development; and new business development across a variety of sectors. Prior to HBR Global, Reeder was a Senior Principal Client Director with the Korn Ferry North America Digital Commercial Transformation team, where he helped Fortune 500, and mid-sized clients transform their revenue generating capabilities.
Reeder’s extensive hospitality technology experience includes fifteen years associated with NTT DoCoMo / Intertouch and related companies, that began with him as VP of Global Accounts at Nomadix, moving onto Chief Commercial and Chief Operating Officer of NTT DoCoMo Intertouch (USA) and ultimately serving as President of Nomadix. Nomadix, a leading manufacturer of premier bandwidth management, public Internet access technology, and SAAS software, is a long-time supplier for Cloud5’s High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) business.
