TPG hasn't put out our list of the most anticipated hotel openings of 2025 yet — but one Hyatt we cannot wait to visit is already taking reservations.
The Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo Del Sol in Mexico is now taking reservations from Aug. 21, 2025, on — and for many dates through October of next year, you can even snag some of the Category 8 resort's off-peak rates for 35,000 World of Hyatt points per night. Cash rates start at $765 per night in August.
And while we're excited to see that reservations are open for this highly anticipated property, it's worth noting that it can be risky to book brand-new hotels right when they open — especially vacation-centric resorts — considering new properties are often victims of setbacks that push opening dates back. Also, beware: Cabo is prone to excessive heat and rainy weather in August and September.
But that doesn't mean it's not a great deal, especially at 35,000 points per night.
Whenever you decide to make it to the brand-new Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo Del Sol, there's a lot to look forward to.
Guest rooms and suites at the resort look light, airy and totally contemporary. Entry-level rooms start at 649 square feet and include patios or terraces, soaking tubs, walk-in showers, 55-inch TVs with Chromecast and all the luxe amenities you're used to at Park Hyatts. For more space, you can spread out to larger suites with swim-up pools and even one- and two-bedroom villas with private pools, living rooms and kitchens.
Across the resort, visitors will find five restaurants and bars ranging from a Mediterranean restaurant to an all-day Mexican establishment, plus a beach club and bar, a pool bar and a coffee shop.
If the thought of a pool bar grabbed your attention as we move into the cooler months, you'll be glad to hear that this park Hyatt has five pools, including a beachfront one with ocean views. There's also a 59,000-square-foot fitness and wellness center.
This is just the first of many hotels opening next year that we can't wait to tell you about. For a little more inspiration, check out the most anticipated openings of this year, including a handful that we're still eagerly awaiting to open the doors.
