“It is with incredible honor to receive the prestigious Travvy Award for Executive of the Year,” Stewart said. “This award stands as a testament to the tireless work of our entire team at Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts and the progressive innovations we've embraced, resulting in a total of six accolades.”
“We are a company profoundly committed to sharing our beautiful part of the planet with guests from around the world,” Stewart continued. “Tourism fuels the economies of the Caribbean, and travel advisors are critical to the region’s success.”
As Executive Chairman for Sandals Resorts International, Stewart helped transform the brand into an international powerhouse and grew its presence in the travel industry to epic proportions.
Before taking over his current role, Stewart spent over a decade as Deputy Chairman and CEO, leading the brand’s transition to its now Luxury Included signature and overseeing a period of significant expansion.
Stewart was honored as over 300 Travvy statuettes were handed out in over 140 categories. Thousands of votes were cast by readers of AGENTatHOME and TravelPulse.com, with winners being showcased in AGENTatHOME Magazine, profiled on TravelPulse.com and honored at the lavish awards gala.
