United's Spring Break Flight Sale Has Deals to Orlando, Charleston, Miami, and More

JetBlue is on the move with new flight routes, while saying goodbye to others. Ahead of the winter travel season, the airline will add a variety of new routes to popular destinations such as Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Phoenix. “These moves underscore JetBlue's commitment to refining its network while leveraging its award-winning experience,” the airline shared in a release announcing the news.  In the New York area, the airline will begin new service from Long Island’s MacArthur Airport (ISP), with a new daily flight to Orlando, and also service to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and West Palm Beach (VPS) four times a week. 

Planning and booking a fall or winter getaway just got cheaper. Southwest Airlines recently announced a new Wanna Get Away fare sale with airfares as low as $49 one-way to popular destinations. Best of all, travelers can snag discounted tickets to Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and other warm destinations throughout the winter. The fare sale ends on July 29, 2024 at 11:59 PM PST, and is valid on travel through January 29, 2025.  The sale may be especially helpful for anyone planning a vacation to Hawaii, as inter-island travel is also discounted. Miss out on a European summer vacation this year? Well, there's still plenty of time to book a fall or winter trip this year — and if you book right now, you can score an amazing airfare deal. Budget airline Norse Atlantic Airways just dropped the sale of the year, allowing you to fly to Europe for as little as $109 (one way, that is).

The holidays came early for deal-seeking travelers.Frontier Airlines recently revealed a “Christmas in July” airfare sale that provides discounts on flights around the United States for as low as $19 one-way.Travel + Leisure spotted deals available from major airports including Atlanta, Nashville, Cleveland, Denver, Las Vegas, Orlando, and more for as low as $19 one-way, as listed on Frontier’s website The fare sale ends on July 25, 2024 at 11:59pm ET, and is valid for tickets through November 13, 2024. However, travelers are advised of several restrictions on when they can use the tickets — such as only flying from Monday through Thursday, and Saturday. There are also time periods where the promotion does not apply, such as select weekends.  While many of Frontier's fares are lower in the promotion, the $19 one-way promotional fares are exclusive to members of the airline's paid membership program, Discount Den. The program provides members access to lower prices, free flights for kids, and other perks.  One exciting part of the deal is it also includes discounted airfare to popular international routes. Travelers can score $89 flights from either Miami, FL or Atlanta, GA to Cancun, Mexico. Those looking to explore the United Kingdom can fly to London-Gatwick Airport for $379 in Main Cabin or $1,299 in Mint.  The airline is also offering discounted one-way fares to Paris for $379 in Main Cabin or $1,299 in Mint.  The fare sale ends on July 20, 2024 at 11:59 PM, EST, for travel from July 28 through September 30. The airline advises that some days may not be available due to capacity or restricted travel dates.  As a price comparison, during a non-sale period, a one-way JFK to LGW flight can cost as much as $1,138 in Main Cabin or $2,233 in Mint, based on pricing from JetBlue's website.  While the Mint cabin provides tons of amenities, passengers in the Main Cabin are treated with extra legroom, and a 10" TV that has a variety of power ports including USB-A, USB-C, and AC (standard outlet). Passengers in the Main Cabin also get a complimentary blanket, and a curated menu from New York's Dig restaurant chain.  JetBlue has been on the move with enhancements to help passengers during a busy summer travel season. The airline recently updated its baggage policy for basic economy, by allowing passengers to bring a free carry-on. The airline also introduced new service to Dublin and Edinburgh.
