Windstar Cruises is bringing back its annual “Christmas in July” sale this month.
The small ship line is once again offering mid-summer discounts and perks on European cruises departing between now and March 2025. But the sale only lasts for a limited time: July 17-31.
The promotion includes a free upgrade to the line’s all-inclusive fares, which means free Wi-Fi, all gratuities, and unlimited wine, beer and cocktails onboard. Guests can also get a short excursion credit of up to $500 per person, a 10 percent double discount for returning guests who are members of the Yacht Club, and discounted deposits on 2024 sailings.
“Summer is a popular time for people to plan family vacations, whether for the holidays or later in the year,” says Janet Bava, chief commercial officer of Windstar Cruises. “Our Christmas in July sale is the gift of our best offer possible as you review options and plan your vacation. This is one of our most popular sales because of the value it includes combining an all-inclusive amenities package for each person plus a shore excursion credit.”
Windstar sails year-round in Europe, but some of its most popular trips have been its winter Mediterranean sailings, which launched in 2023. With fewer crowds and mild temperatures, the November to March sailings offer guests a more relaxed experience in these popular destinations
More broadly, Windstar’s parent company Xanterra Travel Collection is also running a Christmas in July sale that includes special offers from VBT Bicycling Vacations, Country Walkers, the Broadmoore and more.
