What is it with people acting so absurd in airports and on planes?
The travel experience is supposed to be an enjoyable one, but unfortunately some individuals can’t control themselves.
Recently, a passenger was captured on video lying down inside an overhead luggage compartment. Not all that harming, but still she caused a delay with her actions, which negatively impacts her fellow travelers. That’s not a bed, she knows it, and my guess is this was done just for social media “prank.”
Thankfully that incident occurred before takeoff, but sadly that isn’t always the case when it comes to people’s wild antics on planes.
Back in April, a flight had to be diverted after a first-class passenger’s dog pooped in the aisle. The smell became too awful to continue the full plane ride.
Earlier this year a man tried to storm the cockpit and was stopped by two off duty cops. Someone trying to enter the cockpit mid-flight happens every year.
And then there’s the story of a drunken passengers urinating in their seats or the person that pooped in the aisle last year, creating a biohazard in the process.
It’s outrageous sometimes.
I’ve seen people scream and berate gate agents, flight attendants and their fellow passengers.
Is there something in the air up there?
Whatever the case may be, I sincerely hope the level of ridiculousness on planes drops over time.
