Delta Announces Largest-ever Ski Schedule — With Flights to Aspen, Vail, and Jackson Hole

While the summer travel season is well underway, one major airline is looking ahead to make enhancements for ski season. Delta Air Lines announced today it will operate their largest-ever flight schedule to popular ski destinations starting this year. The Atlanta-based carrier will operate a higher frequency or begin new service to the following popular ski destinations including: Aspen, Bozeman, Jackson Hole, Montrose/Telluride, Steamboat Springs, Sun Valley, and Vail.  “With our latest winter schedule, customers have more choices than ever, with up to 190 weekly flights to places our customers want to fly to most, paired with the premium services and amenities our customers always enjoy,” Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning Joe Esposito shared in a release about the new service.  In Los Angeles, Delta will reintroduce daily flights to Bozeman, Montana, Vail, Colorado, and Saturday flights to Sun Valley, Idaho.

7 Best Wine Destinations in South America

Unlike coffee plantations, wine cultivation isn’t restricted by elevation or latitude, and in South America, you’re sure to stumble across vintages being made in well-known destinations such as Mendoza’s Uco Valley or Chile’s Maipó Valley. But there are a host of unexpected, up-and-coming regions across the continent, where you can sample vintages often paired with epic scenery, away from the crowds, yet surrounded by warm hospitality. Take Argentina’s extremely elevated La Quebrada de Humahuaca canyon, where light red Criolla and herbal, blackcurrant Malbec are produced at 8,200 feet above sea level. Peru’s Ica Valley, meanwhile, is usually known for Pisco production but now is the time to try the eight aromatic grape varieties as wine, rather than a spirit. As for Uruguay's glitzy Punta del Este beach resort town, a cluster of wineries are making crunchy ocean-influenced whites that pair perfectly with local catches of the day. Given the vast size of South America, explore this unsung terroir by car—it'll allow you to move slowly, and get even further off the well-trod path (good news: many of the area's wineries have stylish stays right on site).

This Airline Just Discounted 1 Million Seats — With Tickets Starting As Low As $19

A late summer or fall getaway just got cheaper to book. Frontier Airlines recently announced a ‘1 Million Seats’ fare sale with deals as low as $19 one-way. The sale extends to popular locations such as Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Orlando, and more.  The sale pricing expires on June 13, 2024, and is valid on travel dates between now and June 15, 2024 and then again from August 19, 2024 through October 31, 2024, with some caveats. The airline will only allow discounted tickets to be purchased for flights on Mondays through Thursdays, and Saturdays. There are other restrictions for travel dates to Las Vegas, Florida, and international destinations, so travelers should carefully review the sale terms to ensure they are getting the best deals.  The discounted fares of $19 are only available to members of Frontier's paid-subscription service Discount Den, which has a $59 annual membership fee and provides access to deals and other amenities for members. For those without the Discount Den subscription, the starting sale price is $29. Travel + Leisure spotted some of the deals include:

So, as an extension of our recently released 2024 Hot List of the best new hotels in the world, we are highlighting the best new hotel restaurants, spas, and bars, as picked by our editors.
