Delta Air Lines will begin offering free Wi-Fi on most domestic flights starting February 1.
The free Wi-Fi service will be available on more than 500 planes serving Delta’s most popular routes across the continental US beginning February 1, and will be rolled out across the airline’s global fleet by the end of 2024.

The catch? You’ll need to be a Delta SkyMiles member to get the free Wi-Fi, so make sure you sign up for the free loyalty program before boarding. If you’re not a SkyMiles member, you’ll be charged a flat rate of $10 per device per flight to get online.

Delta promises that its new Wi-Fi, powered by satellite, will deliver streaming-quality speeds. “Our vision has long been to deliver an experience at 30,000 feet that feels similar to what our customers have available on the ground,” said Delta CEO Ed Bastian.
