New Hotels in the Cayman Islands for 2024 Scheduled to open in Q2 2024 is Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman. Hotel Indigo will use a geothermal/ice storage combination and will feature insulated glazing throughout to reduce energy consumption. The latest in Cayman real estate developer, Dart’s, hospitality portfolio, Hotel Indigo is expected to generate several hundred jobs when it opens. In 2022, Dart launched its Hospitality Training Programme, which provides Caymanians with the opportunity to obtain first-hand industry experience via a three-month work experience within the Dart hospitality portfolio.

World-renowned international hotelier Kempinski Hotels has been named operator of a unique new luxury beachfront residences and resort, located on one of the last remaining pristine stretches of the award-winning Grace Bay Beach in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. A moving portrait of fiery, social documentary photographer Patricia Anne "Tish" Murtha (14 March 1956 – 13 March 2013), has been released in cinemas today. Docu-biopic Tish, directed by Paul Sng (Dispossession, Poly Styrene: I Am A Cliché ) and beautifully narrated by actor Maxine Peake, paints a vivid and evocative portrait of Murtha’s life-long commitment to documenting the lives of working-class communities in the North East of England. The driving force behind the film was Murtha’s daughter Ella who talks to her mother’s relatives, friends and teachers to create an engaging overview of one the UK’s least known but most important photographers. Ella has also been responsible for ensuring her mother’s work has been acquired by and shown in the Tate gallery.

There are places I feel compelled to visit once, and there are places that beckon multiple visits.
