AMSTERDAM – Joshua Mullock is stepping into the role of Wine Director at Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam. With his experience in a number of restaurants in the UK, Joshua is ready to take restaurant Bridges to the next level together with Maître Daan Halle and Executive Chef Raoul Meuwese.
Joshua, originally from Wales, began his journey into the world of wines during his WSET education, where he quickly obtained the WSET diploma, setting the stage for his career in fine dining. His journey began as a Sommelier at Restaurant Number One in Edinburgh. While developing himself further, Joshua built a career at several restaurants in the UK including the two Michelin-starred Restaurant Raby Hunt, The Pompadour, and eventually obtained the position of Head Sommelier at the Michelin-starred Askham Hall.
Joshua will be working with Maître Daan Halle and Executive Chef Raoul Meuwese, and together they have the mission to continue with the wonderful journey of restaurant Bridges.
Joshua says, “For me, there is quite simply nothing that gives me more pleasure and fulfillment as running a restaurant delivering the best food, wine, and service. I love to host people, to entertain, and make my guests laugh and feel relaxed. I cannot wait to continue my absolute passion at restaurant Bridges.”
