The 2024 Love Travel Awards honored top romance travel professionals and venues at Forte Village Resort, introducing new categories to celebrate inclusivity and exceptional service in the industry.
SARDINIA, ITALY – The prestigious Love Travel Awards took place on 27 April 2024 at Salla Dei Cristalli, Forte Village Resort, attended by over 250 romance travel leaders. Over a glamorous evening gala, the industry’s most outstanding venues and exceptional romance travel specialists were recognised and celebrated.
To create the shortlist of nominees, the industry’s most important influencers were consulted. Romance travel professionals then voted for their favourites, creating the list of finalists.
Categories for the 2024 Love Travel Awards included Best Wedding Venue, Most Romantic Hotel, Best Destination Wedding Planner, and Romance Travel Specialist of the Year.
This year, two new awards were introduced: The Champion of Equality award, which recognises a wedding planner or romance travel specialist who embraces and promotes the message that LOVE is LOVE, and is an expert at creating a fusion of different wedding cultures and/or same sex couples; as well as the Above and Beyond award, which recognises individuals who go the extra mile to deliver an outstanding level of personalised service and extraordinary experiences for their clients.
Voted for by a global audience of romance travel professionals, all of the nominees, finalists, and winners were reviewed by experts, and submitted to an industry-wide vote.
