TravelPulse is thrilled to announce the members of its inaugural Travel Industry 40 Under 40. This prestigious honor recognizes the achievements of young professionals who are making significant contributions to the travel industry.
The 2024 40 Under 40 honorees were selected based on their innovation, leadership, and impact on the travel industry. This class of winners includes a diverse group of individuals from various sectors of the travel industry.
Finalists nominated themselves or were nominated by friends and colleagues and had to complete an extensive written application as well as submit both internal and external industry references. All applicants were thoroughly reviewed and finalists were chosen by TravelPulse’s editorial and marketing teams.
“We received hundreds of impressive applications and went through many rigorous hours of review to select 20 advisors and 20 suppliers,” said Eric Bowman, Executive Editor of TravelPulse. “Our team was amazed at the incredible talent, and we look forward to continue recognizing the rising stars in the travel industry. Thank you to all those who applied.”
The 40 Under 40 will also be publicly honored at the upcoming Travvy Awards and featured in a November AGENTatHOME digital guide.
“We’re overwhelmingly inspired by this group’s passion and enthusiasm for this industry,” said Melissa Cooper, Director of Marketing for Northstar’s Retail Travel Group. “The 40 Under 40 are paving the way for the next generation of leaders in travel and we couldn’t be more excited to follow the trajectory of their careers going forward.”
TravelPulse is committed to fostering the next generation of travel leaders. The 40 Under 40 program is just one way we are working to achieve this goal.
“This initiative, crafted by two of our own under 40 team members, enables us to expand our commitment to the future of the travel industry as a whole," said Mary Pat Sullivan, EVP of Marketing & Partnerships, Travel Group, Northstar Travel Group. "At Northstar, we are 100 percent dedicated to championing the travel industry, and we support the growth and development of the next generation of leaders. We have hosted hundreds of young leaders at our Future Leaders in Travel event for the last several years and will continue to find ways to enhance and encourage long time travel industry careers.”
