Couples can easily spend $4,000 (or more) on a weeklong trip to Disney World, but my husband and I have found a few ways to save money.
Even though we don't have kids, we usually stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. It's popular with families because of its kid-friendly, Disney-movie theming. But adults shouldn't overlook the budget-friendly hotel.
Here's what our most recent stay was like and why Art of Animation is one of the best places for adults to stay at Disney World.

I’ll never forget when I was in Istanbul. I was in the famous bazaar, where every single vendor there offered me delicious apple tea – to entice me to make a purchase – and where you could find mountains and mountains of boxes of Turkey’s famous candy. Turkish Delight or “Lokum” as it's known in Turkey, is a delicate flavored jelly candy that is ubiquitous in the country. You will typically find it scented with rosewater or cinnamon, orange, vanilla or bergamot.
Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, the first Ritz-Carlton Reserve in the Middle East was unveiled today on Ummahat Island in the tranquil waters of The Red Sea. I've been to Disney World more times than I can count, and I always stay on the property. I love the convenience of being in the Disney bubble for the whole trip.
As I boarded the Caledonian Sleeper with my family at Edinburgh Waverly on a cool Scottish summer night, it was difficult not to get caught up in the romantic quality of this eight-hour journey to London. That a kindly bellhop from The Balmoral, our hotel adjacent to the station, loaded our valises off a trolley cart did little to rein in these trappings.
Hearty meat, mashed vegetables and huge wheels of cheese are just the start of the Dutch culinary story. The country has a natural larder of lush fields, pastures, coastline and waterways, and tens of thousands of acres of high-tech greenhouses.
A Florida woman has filed a lawsuit against Disney, saying she lost consciousness and sustained a brain injury after riding a waterslide at Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.
In the heart of Sonoma Plaza, amidst charming boutiques and welcoming tasting rooms offering the finest local wines, sits the El Dorado Hotel & Kitchen. In the hospitality world, luxury is continually redefined. It is no longer just about opulence or extravagance. True luxury lies in experiences that touch the soul, ambiance that exudes warmth, and service that anticipates every need. It is about creating memories that linger long after the visit ends. El Dorado in Sonoma, California, exemplifies this new standard by seamlessly blending elegance with comfort. Admittedly, when I first visited El Dorado six years ago I thought it was just a restaurant. But El Dorado is more than just a restaurant; it is a hotel that radiates charm, comfort, and unparalleled hospitality with direct access to many of the best wineries in Sonoma County.
You can now enter to win a stay at the Four Seasons Orlando — however we can't promise you'll run into its tiniest, TikTok-famous fan. The hotel, on the Walt Disney World Resort property, has partnered with Florida's Brightline train company to provide the ultimate VIP getaway to a lucky winner. Coincidentally, the giveaway comes after some unexpected attention in the form of a viral, and adorable, TikTok video, of a baby getting excited about a potential visit to the hotel.
Disney World is expensive, and it doesn't seem like a trip to the parks will be cheaper anytime soon.

Cultural wasteland. Rural backwater. The Redneck Riviera. Whatever northern critics might say about "Flora-Bama," the 200-mile stretch of Florida beneath Alabama, I’m here – as a Florida-raised New Yorker – to tell you they’re flat wrong.
