Seabourn will have two ships sailing in Asia in late 2024 and 2025.
Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Quest will be offering a selection of Asia itineraries from December 2024 to March 2025, then again in November 2025.
Seabourn Encore will sail between Singapore and Hong Kong before continuing on to Japan. From there, the ship will cross the Pacific and make her first visit to the United States. Guests will be able to explore destinations in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, Japan.
Seabourn Quest will explore Japan in the spring for cherry blossom season and will return in the fall for autumn foliage, visiting new destinations such as Akita, Ishinomaki, Niigata and Wakayama.
The cruise line is also unveiling new short excursions in Japan. The Very Best of Kobe is a full-day tour of landmarks in Kobe, including the Himeji Castle and the Koko-en Garden. Guests will also feast on Kobe beef at lunch and learn about the traditional sake-making process at the Kiku-Masamune Sake Brewery Museum.
The other new shore excursion, called Hiroshige Museum & Tea Ceremony, is a half-day tour that includes a visit to the Tokaido Hiroshige Museum of Art. Guests will also participate in a Japanese tea ceremony at the serene Miyuki-tei house.
Select cruises will host speakers via the line’s onboard enrichment program, Seabourn Conversations. Featured guests include Jim Laurie, an international writer and media consultant, and Anne Cleeves OBE, an award-winning author.
