Meanwhile payouts to bloggers and media reached over $10 million USD in total since inception, with 2023’s $6 million in payouts up by 253% from 2022.
MONTREAL, CANADA – Stay22, the travel tech company that offers affiliate revenue generation opportunities for travel bloggers and media, has confirmed that in 2023 it substantially increased the number of bloggers using the platform and increased payouts to those bloggers.
By the close of 2023 the Stay22 platform had increased the number of travel bloggers around the world using its platform from 200 up to 900.
At the same time Stay22 – whose technology helps suppliers better tap into the booming creator economy, successfully linking travel content creators with big travel suppliers – can confirm that during 2023 it paid out for the first time over $6 million USD to blogger and media partners, an increase of 253% year-on-year. This takes the total amount paid out since inception to over $10 million USD.
Andrew Lockhead, CEO & Co-Founder of Stay22 comments: “Content creators offer our travel supplier clients access to high-margin, incremental, hard-to-reach bookings not accessible via normal distribution channels – so I’m thrilled to say that we’ve more than quadrupled the number of bloggers that we work with during 2023.
“This is a match made in heaven as our content creator partners need to monetize their hard-work and creativity, so it makes me very proud to say that for the first time our total yearly payouts broke the $6 million USD mark, reaching the $10 million USD threshold for payouts since we founded the business. Watch this space as we announce more exciting news in 2024.”
This news follows the recent announcement that 2023 was a record year for bookings and revenues generated for Stay22’s travel selling suppliers, generating 562,000 bookings worth approximately $250 million USD in high-margin, incremental revenues.
Stay22 also recently announced that the company works with 11 travel suppliers around the world, including major hotels, airlines and online travel agencies, with more coming on board soon.

With more than 300 sunny days per year, daytime temps that rarely dip below 65, and an armada of resorts, Phoenix, Arizona is a great getaway for any group gathering that prioritizes pool time, day drinking, and a few rounds of golf. But the city's appeal goes deeper: The area's natural beauty inspired designers and artists like Frank Lloyd Wright, Maxfield Parrish, and Paolo Soleri. And despite its enormous growth (the metro area topped 5 million last year), the increasingly diverse city still retains a frontier spirit: Newcomers are reinventing everything from its food scene to its art circuit, making Phoenix one of America's best under-the-radar destinations.
