Booking flights across the pond just got cheaper, with tickets starting at 6,000 points for Virgin Atlantic’s big birthday sale.
“It's our party, and we fly how we want to,” the airline wrote about the promotion on its website. “It might be our birthday, but this is your treat. Live it up in style on a 2024 trip to remember.”
The sale, which must be booked by tonight at 11:59 p.m. GMT, has 40 percent off flights booked with Virgin Atlantic points. These discounted fares are available for one-way or round-trip flights across Virgin Atlantic’s network by Dec. 31, 2024, but government taxes and fees will still apply at checkout.
With no blackout dates to note, this promotion could be a great way for travelers to save on a pricey Europe flight this summer. Virgin Atlantic flies to London from over a dozen U.S. cities, such as Miami and San Francisco, where the 40 percent discount will automatically apply.
To book, travelers must head to Virgin Atlantic’s website and start their search in “Points” rather than “Money.” Travel + Leisure searched through the list and found the following one-way flights on sale:
