Aegli Hotel Volos: An emblematic hotel on the beach of Volos

Aegli Hotel, designed by architect Dimitris Kassiopoulos and being a distinctive monument of Art Nouveau, began its operations in 1938.

The 3-star Aegli Hotel Volos is the town historic hotel. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, at the city center, on the sea side, Aegli Hotel is a timeless accommodation choice. It is located at the most privileged location with unique port views.

Aegli Hotel derived from the union of the two historic hotels in Volos, Aegli & Pallas.

The building of Pallas Hotel started at 1926 and it first operated in 1929. It belonged to Skretas family and the galleria connecting the two building was named after them. It is the oldest operative hotel in the city of Volos.

In 1977 Pallas Hotel closed down and at the end of the 1990s, the two buildings were united and drastically reconstructed. The hotel was extensively refurbished in 2012 and 2016, in order to cater to modern travelers’ needs. Since 1996, Aegli Hotel and Pallas hotel operate jointly, offering high standards services.

The hotel has 72 rooms, which have been fully refurbished in 2012 and 2016. They are equipped with individually controlled air-conditioning (hot/cool), LCD TVs, refrigerator, bathrooms with hair dryers and luxurious amenities. The hotels provides free WiFi internet connection in all common areas and rooms.

Guests can choose between Superior, Deluxe and Family rooms, but there are also Junior suites, as well as an Executive Suite. More specifically, Superior, Deluxe and Family Rooms feature an LCD satellite TV, fridge, work desk, netbook-sized safe, free wireless Internet access, anatomic mattresses and luxurious personal care products.

The suites, both the Junior and the Executive, have self-controlled air conditioning or heating, LCD satellite TV, fridge, netbook-sized safe, free high speed wireless internet access, anatomic mattresses, separate lounge, luxury personal care products, bathrobes and slippers.
