Air France La Première: Everything We Know About the New First Class Upgrades

China’s flag airline Air China and The New Terminal One at JFK have launched a partnership to collaborate on New York’s new global gateway to elevate the travel experience for Chinese customers visiting the United States. The New Terminal One, a dedicated international terminal that is being constructed in partnership with The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s $19 billion redevelopment of JFK Airport, will partner with Air China with the objective of providing a world-class experience for Chinese customers at the premier global gateway scheduled to open in 2026.

After being delayed for years, the EU’s Entry/Exit System (EES) is expected to come into force this autumn.

Last year, Air France rolled out a swanky new business class on its new Boeing 777-300s, with lie-flat seats, 4K high-definition screens, and sommelier-selected wine. This year, the French flag carrier is continuing to invest in its premium service, upping the ante with new upgrades to its celebrated first-class product, La Première.

On a crisp spring morning, I trusted a horse — a bay named Sino — to show me the vast Gila Wilderness of southern New Mexico. Red rock walls rose beside us as we wove back and forth across a shallow creek separating ponderosa pine on the shady south side of Rocky Canyon from barrel cactus in the cliff crevasses on the desertlike north face. I leaned against his neck as Sino climbed a steep ridge that led to a hilltop savannah of pinyon, juniper and groves of tentacled cane cholla cactus tipped in faded yellow fruit. Surrounding them, forested mountains were unblemished by buildings or roads.
