FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – American Queen Voyages, the award-winning cruise line part of Hornblower Group, announced Kevin Lorton has been promoted to Vice President of Sales. As the former Regional Vice President for California for American Queen Voyages’ sister brand, City Cruises (also part of Hornblower Group), Lorton brings decades of hospitality experience to his new role focused on leading the sales and revenue management teams, helping strengthen the brand’s customer relationships and driving revenue growth.
“With his years of hospitality expertise, exceptional sales acumen and proven track record, we are thrilled to welcome Kevin Lorton to the AQV team,” says Adam Peakes, President of Hornblower Group. “As someone who has previous experience with our sister brand, I’m looking forward to the fresh, new ideas Kevin brings to the table as we continue to level up our services for American Queen Voyages.”
Lorton has worked with City Cruises’ operations across Northern California, Greater Los Angeles, Long Beach, Orange County, and San Diego, in addition to the historic event facility, The Abbey in Balboa Park. His previous roles with the company have included serving as the Vice President and General Manager of Greater Los Angeles and Orange County, as well as the Director of Sales and Marketing, Promotions Manager, and Public Cruise Manager.
Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
