AmericInn by Wyndham is searching for the cheesiest family in America to hit the road across the Midwest in a new social media dream job for the whole family, including a $15,000 payout.
Cheese is an important part of the Midwest from Wisconsin to Minnesota and beyond, and the first AmericInn Cheesiest Family will enjoy seven nights of cheese-worthy road tripping through Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa, visiting cheese-centric attractions and enjoying nights at AmericInn properties across the region.
Curious on how to apply? Families should visit Wyndham’s website to submit a written entry of no less than 300 words or submit a 60-second video of why your family should win the title of AmericInn’s Cheesiest Family. Families are also required to submit a family photo, full names of all the applicants, handles to public and active social media accounts and current place of residence.
Applications are being accepted now through the end of July. The winning family will be announced the week of August 12 and will travel on or about August 23 through August 30. The family who wins must participate in cheesy experiences for seven days, document them on social media and more.
They’ll receive seven paid nights at AmericInn hotels, $10,000 travel stipend, $5,000 cash, Wyndham Rewards Diamond level membership and a suitcase full of AmericInn swag.
"No matter where you live, nothing beats the bonding power of cheese,” said Clem Bence, Vice President and Brand Leader of AmericInn by Wyndham. “And when it comes to the best, there's no doubt the Midwest reigns supreme. Just like cheese brings families together over delicious meals, AmericInn connects guests with unforgettable travel experiences across America's heartland and beyond. Our first ever Cheesiest Family will fully immerse themselves in the best cheese-scapades, experiencing AmericInn signature hospitality and sharing their memorable adventures on social media."

Picture it: You’re scrolling social media and see a happy couple against a dreamy backdrop celebrating their engagement. You immediately make up a scenario in your head, predicting how surprised the other partner was based on their body language, outfit, and manicure status. On a scale from “absolutely no clue this was happening” to “they helped plan it themselves,” you decide it was somewhere in the “had a hunch but couldn’t confirm” range and wait (not so) patiently for them to share more.

Although the cost of a cruise is going up, this form of travel is still the best value for a family vacation right now.
To travel from the center of Paris to Asnières-sur-Seine, about six miles northwest, is to witness a cross section of the city's evolution: Neoclassical monuments give way to the industrial suburb of Clichy, where corporate giants are headquartered and sustainable urbanism is taking hold. From there the Seine cuts through the city sprawl as it snakes its way north, and several traffic-strewn bridges take you over the Left Bank to reach the small commune, a hub of creation that has hummed away just outside the city's periphery for the past 150 years.
