The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) is pleased to announce that its annual flagship event, the Travel Advisor Conference, has sold out for 2024. The highly anticipated event, scheduled for May 29-31 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas, has generated an unprecedented level of interest from travel professionals worldwide.
"We are thrilled to announce that the Travel Advisor Conference 2024 is officially sold out," said Zane Kerby, ASTA President & CEO. "The overwhelming response from the travel community as a whole underscores the importance of education and ongoing professionalization for the travel industry. We truly believe this event will improve the business of everyone who attends and puts the lessons they learn into practice."
Rebranded this year, the Travel Advisor Conference was formerly known as ASTA Global Convention (and, before that, as The Trade Show and ASTA World Congress). The reimagining was more than just a name change. The organization took the opportunity to lean into educational opportunities for attendees- attracting speakers ranging from best-selling authors to C-suite travel executives and Ivy League professors; developing education tracks based on an advisor’s goals and time in the industry; and providing onsite certification for ASTA’s Verified Travel Advisor program.
Also new to this year’s Travel Advisor Conference is a record number of evening networking events curated for all attendees and the organization’s largest trade show in recent memory, including a separate session for 1:1 matched meeting.
“We’re excited about the response to this year’s event,” said Sarah Little, ASTA’s Vice President of Business Development. “Every year, the travel industry calendar gets more and more crowded with quality events and we’re proud to have a conference that resonates with our membership and Proud Partner organizations.”
Travel Advisor Conference selling out comes just a month after ASTA held a sold-out River Cruise Expo in Amsterdam and sold-out next year’s River Cruise Expo in Vienna in under 24 hours. ASTA’s upcoming 2024 Caribbean Showcase is also sold out, while attendance for ASTA’s Legislative Day is still open but expected to reach capacity shortly.
Although attendance for this year’s Travel Advisor Conference is no longer available, individuals interested in attending are encouraged to join the waitlist at traveladvisorconference.org. Those on the waitlist may be accommodated as space becomes available for 2024 and will receive first right of refusal on registration for ASTA Travel Advisor Conference 2025. More details
