I love all things Disney, but I haven't been able to justify spending the money visiting Disney World as an adult. The last time I went was in 2013 on a high school trip, and admittedly, I didn't pay for that.

Avelo Airlines is ramping up its operations in the Delaware and Philadelphia region with new and returning routes, further enhancing its presence just over a year after reintroducing commercial flights at Wilmington Airport (ILG).
The airline is set to launch a new service connecting Wilmington to Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) and will also resume several popular routes to Florida in November. At the same time, the ultra-low-cost carrier will be bringing a second, based aircraft back to ILG.
Beginning November 8, Avelo will offer twice-weekly flights from Wilmington to Atlanta, operating on Mondays and Fridays. The ultra-low-cost carrier is celebrating the launch of this new route with introductory promotional fares starting as low as $46 one-way, available for purchase through August 13 for travel between November 8 and November 18.
In addition to the new Atlanta service, Avelo is bringing back flights to several Florida destinations, a move likely to please sun-seeking travelers. The airline will resume twice-weekly service to Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) starting November 7, with flights available on Thursdays and Sundays. This will be followed by the return of flights to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) on November 8, operating on Mondays and Fridays. Later in the month, on November 23, Avelo will restart service to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) with flights scheduled for Wednesdays and Saturdays.
“Avelo is proud to be the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley region’s airline of choice and continue growth at ILG with a new route to Atlanta, the return of Daytona Beach, the Palm Beaches and Sarasota-Bradenton, and adding back our second based aircraft,” Avelo’s Airlines Founder and CEO, Andrew Levy, said in its announcement. “Our Customers tell us they love the convenience, affordability and reliability of flying Avelo at ILG. I appreciate the support Avelo has received from community leaders across the state and send special thanks to our awesome ILG Crewmembers who make it all happen.”
Avelo brought back service to Delaware in 2023, following a period with no flights available in the state, and has since grown its operations to include 13 nonstop destinations from ILG. Others include Charlotte/Concord (USA) and Wilmington (ILM), North Carolina; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (MYR); Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Fort Myers (RSW), Orlando/Lakeland (LAL), Orlando (MCO) and Tampa (TPA), Florida; and San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU).
The airline also expanded its reach last year by launching flights to Puerto Rico and recently announced plans to begin service to its first international destinations in Mexico and Jamaica.
