WHY IT RATES: The new, innovative Brownell Catalyst program is a sister to the Brownell Mentoring and Hosting programs and is designed to help existing travel advisors expand their luxury travel businesses.—Patrick Clarke, TravelPulse Senior Editor
Brownell, the premier U.S. independent travel advisor host agency, is thrilled to unveil an innovative, new accelerator program designed for existing travel advisors and self-starting entrepreneurs committed to expanding their luxury travel business with the knowledge, resources, and customized training an established host agency provides.
Brownell Catalyst will provide advisors unparalleled access to comprehensive information, powerful tools, proven best practices, and the community collaboration necessary for a successful, scalable travel business.
The program will be a sister to the Brownell Mentoring and Hosting Programs, providing an innovative option to existing advisors who lack the infrastructure to capture, grow, or manage a significant book of business.
Chief Development Officer, Kerry Dyer, who oversees Brownell’s advisor programs, helped design Brownell Catalyst. “Until now, we have not had a program that allows us to take on advisors who are in between a brand-new advisor and a very experienced one,” says Dyer. “Brownell Catalyst will allow Brownell to be more competitive in the modern market.”
During the Catalyst term, the advisor will work directly with a team of professionals who specialize in sales, marketing, product knowledge, vendor relations, and more. Upon completion of the training and meeting a revenue threshold requirement, the advisor will graduate into Brownell Hosting.
“While this program allows us to appeal to a wider audience, we will maintain our commitment to bringing on advisors who will uphold the Brownell standards and core values through their work,” says Dyer.

I became a travel writer for the same reason many people do: I'm an avid traveler and have been for as long as I can remember.I love nothing better than to get as far off the beaten path as possible, immersing myself in nature or having genuine interactions with people from other cultures. My earliest travel memories are of my mother taking me on adventure-filled, cross-country trips each summer during middle school. We would pack up her van and the two of us would hit the open road, leaving behind our small apartment in upstate New York to spend weeks exploring each and every one of the national parks throughout America’s southwest.Zion. Parisian culture places huge value on food, beauty, and leisure, and many of the faux pas (at least in the eyes of Parisians) made by visitors occur when these sacred principles are infringed. From dining etiquette to public transportation dos and don'ts, here’s your easy guide to navigating the City of Lights the Parisian way.
