Canadian low-cost carrier WestJet is getting on the free Wi-Fi bandwagon.

A popular international airline just announced a major upgrade for business class passengers.Turkish Airlines revealed its new Crystal Business Class Suite during the Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom.  For the first time, the business class will have an adjustable sliding door which will offer more privacy in the cabin. The seat has a 22” television screen, and 23” of seat width, which make the suite comfortable for sitting or when extended into a bed for sleeping.

The holidays came early for deal-seeking travelers.Frontier Airlines recently revealed a “Christmas in July” airfare sale that provides discounts on flights around the United States for as low as $19 one-way.Travel + Leisure spotted deals available from major airports including Atlanta, Nashville, Cleveland, Denver, Las Vegas, Orlando, and more for as low as $19 one-way, as listed on Frontier’s website The fare sale ends on July 25, 2024 at 11:59pm ET, and is valid for tickets through November 13, 2024. However, travelers are advised of several restrictions on when they can use the tickets — such as only flying from Monday through Thursday, and Saturday. There are also time periods where the promotion does not apply, such as select weekends.  While many of Frontier's fares are lower in the promotion, the $19 one-way promotional fares are exclusive to members of the airline's paid membership program, Discount Den. The program provides members access to lower prices, free flights for kids, and other perks.  One exciting part of the deal is it also includes discounted airfare to popular international routes. Travelers can score $89 flights from either Miami, FL or Atlanta, GA to Cancun, Mexico. If you were flying — or planned to fly — last week, your travel plans might have been snarled by an I.T. outage that kneecapped myriad industries and critical services worldwide. On Friday, July 19, alone, nearly 14 percent of the scheduled flights in the United States were canceled and 56 percent were delayed, according to Cirium, an aviation data company. Those looking to explore the United Kingdom can fly to London-Gatwick Airport for $379 in Main Cabin or $1,299 in Mint.  The airline is also offering discounted one-way fares to Paris for $379 in Main Cabin or $1,299 in Mint.  The fare sale ends on July 20, 2024 at 11:59 PM, EST, for travel from July 28 through September 30. The airline advises that some days may not be available due to capacity or restricted travel dates.  As a price comparison, during a non-sale period, a one-way JFK to LGW flight can cost as much as $1,138 in Main Cabin or $2,233 in Mint, based on pricing from JetBlue's website.  While the Mint cabin provides tons of amenities, passengers in the Main Cabin are treated with extra legroom, and a 10" TV that has a variety of power ports including USB-A, USB-C, and AC (standard outlet). Passengers in the Main Cabin also get a complimentary blanket, and a curated menu from New York's Dig restaurant chain.  JetBlue has been on the move with enhancements to help passengers during a busy summer travel season. The airline recently updated its baggage policy for basic economy, by allowing passengers to bring a free carry-on. The airline also introduced new service to Dublin and Edinburgh.
