NASHVILLE, TN – Marriott International, Inc. announced the 192-room Courtyard by Marriott Nashville Downtown has completed renovations to its guest rooms, corridors and fitness center. The newly refreshed hotel, located at 170 4th Avenue North is owned by BRE Hotels and Resorts of New York and managed by Marriott International, Inc. of Bethesda, Maryland. The renovation includes new carpeting, wall vinyl, paint, and furniture in the guest rooms, new carpeting in the public areas, as well as a refurbished fitness center.
“We are thrilled with the completed renovation, the up-to-date décor will provide our guests a comfortable and productive place to stay,” said Leslie Smith, General Manager, Courtyard by Marriott Nashville Downtown. “Our convenient location offers guests a central point for all their needs whether traveling to downtown Nashville for business or pleasure.”
Courtyard by Marriott Nashville Downtown offers guests tremendous charm and character, as well as being situated in an ideal location. The 12-story hotel was originally constructed as a bank in 1927 and located in Printer’s Alley just a short walk from Broadway. The highly desirable location provides convenient access to Ryman Auditorium, Bridgestone Arena, the Country Music Hall of Fame, Centennial Park and Nissan Stadium.
The hotel’s guest rooms were refreshed with new carpeting, furniture, artwork, wall coverings, and draperies. Guests will enjoy the Courtyard’s signature features such as a well-lit workspace with ergonomic desk chair, spacious bathrooms and complimentary Wi-Fi. Other guestroom amenities include the latest in-room entertainment technology, allowing guests to access their Hulu, Netflix and YouTube accounts through the HDTV.
Amenities at the Courtyard by Marriott Nashville Downtown include a 24/7 fitness center, six event rooms with a combined 3,800 square-feet of functional meeting space with audio-visual equipment and catering, a 24-hour Market and Starbuck’s offering breakfast and lunch options. The hotel also features Gannon’s Restaurant offering a wide-variety of dishes including fresh oysters, highly curated cocktails and jazz music nightly.
