A visit to the “happiest place on Earth” will soon be more expensive.
Walt Disney World recently released ticket availability through Oct. 31, 2025, and the lowest price for a single park, one-day visit, has increased from $109 to $119. (Disney hasn't raised prices at its flagship resort in Orlando, Florida, since December 2022, reported USA Today.)
According to Disney’s ticket price calendar, the last day visitors can visit a park for the $109 rate is Sept. 26, 2024.
Travel + Leisure spotted some of the highest one-day tickets for the Magic Kingdom at $184 for a visit to 2025 on the Disney calendar. For the «Park Hopper'' ticket, which provides access to multiple parks in one day, the cost is $247.
Don Munsil, who runs the travel website MouseSavers.com, told CNN: „In the past, Disney just raised all the ticket prices at once rather than rolling out new prices as they added new dates to their calendar… So this new strategy is interesting, because all the 2024 prices remained unchanged.”
Despite the park ticket price increases, there could be opportunities for savings for travelers by staying on the lookout for promotions. “Walt Disney World has also ramped up discounts significantly since last raising ticket prices in December 2022,” Disney Tourist Blog writer Tom Bricker recently shared.
Walt Disney World regularly updates a special webpage with offers, deals, and discounts. The theme park is currently promoting up to 30% on hotels for longer stays, and special offers for U.S. Military members.
To help provide more discount options for visitors, Walt Disney World recently announced free entry to the Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach water parks for visitors who stay at on-site hotels.
For travelers planning an upcoming Disney vacation and looking to save, experts recommend visiting during the off-season to avoid peak crowds during the summer vacation or holidays.
